The 1891 Census shows them living in Mintlyn, Norfolk, where Ephraim is working as an agricultural labourer with three young children.  Before they move to Cambridge they have already lost Frederick Charley, who died when he was 3, and daughter Edith Ann, who died at 13 months.

Ephraim and Kezia now have four children.  Robert works as an errand boy and was born in Shoreham, Norfolk.  George Albert Victor (6) and Emma (9) were both born in Lynn, Norfolk.  Three year old John was born in Cambridge.

The family have a boarder, Thomas Harvey, aged 46, who also works as a horseman for the G.E.R.

The electoral registers record this family in residence from 1898-1915, however they are on the 1911 Census living at 9 Ainsworth Street.
