In 44 Kingston Street is the house of the Banyard family. Charles Banyard is a 35 year old bricklayer from Cherry Hinton; his wife Amelia is 32 and hails from Ely. They live with their daughter Mabel Banyard, aged 13, Sidney, aged 9, and Stanley Banyard, who is 4.
1911
By 1891, little has changed, though Sidney has now left home and Mabel is working as a draper’s assistant.
