A windmill used to stand at the corner of Trumpington Road and Long Road

Windmill at the end of Long (Mill) Road, 1898 (Cambridgeshire Collection)

In about 1812 a windmill was built to the east of Trumpington Road (on the north side of Long Road near the Long Road/Trumpington Road junction). It was demolished before 1901.
