The granary at this site moved was moved to Wandlebury in the 1960s. W Clark, Once around Wandlebury, 1985, noted: Originally built circa 1415, the granary had been pat of a group of farm buildings at Tadlow Towers, Royston. In 1967 permission was requested to demolish the granary. As there was only one other building of its type known in the Britain, it was decided to preserve it. So it was transported to Wandlebury for safe keeping.
