Scheduled Monument
This barrow was excavated in 1852. It is 67 feet in diameter and 10-12 feet high, on the north side of Fleam Dyke. It contained no less that eight (possibly ten) interments, all by cremation. A necklace of segmented beads was found with one interment, one of the most interesting objects found in Bronze Age barrows in this region. The beads are of Mediterranean origin.
