Parish Church. Late C14, nave, chancel, and tower with one notably earlier C14 chancel window. Restored in 1901 by Mr Rickett of Abingdon directed by Detmar Blow (1867-1939). (Historic England)
In the early 20th century the relationship between the Rector and his congregation was at very low ebb. (Vanishing Cambridgeshire p.118)
The CDN 18.7.1903 reported something like a riot in the village.
The CDN 1.6.1904 reported that the congregation had dwindled to eight and others were holding services in a dilapidated cottage.
