Hans A Schlossmann, pharmacologist. During WWII the house accommodated many student from the LSE. Mr Schlossman also worked with Miss Sturge and Mrs Greta Burkill looking after German refugees. The was hit by incendiary bombs which slid off the roof. The chapel was used for table tennis.
