The Robinson family had moved here from Market Hill after the death of William White Robinson in 1896.

Charles Theodore Hermges, waiter

MW wrote in 2024: I knew a Solvi Bateson, a Norwegian writer, who lived in 10 Earl street in 1970. She then married Boris von Heisler. it was a lovely house. She used to come to a small village on the Suffolk coast. She had friends there, among them an English actress.
