History of St John's Terrace, Blinco Grove

Pamela Knights moved to Blinco Grove in 1955 after her marriage. In 2016 she described the history of St John’s Terrace and the house as she found it then:

She talked about her family and her husband’s work at Heffers, the printers. They were lucky to get the house in time for their wedding:

Despite the shortage of housing, it was considered very important for many to try to own a house of your own, even if it meant waiting:
