In September 1920 Ethel M Crack of 150 Blinco Grove wrote to the Cambridge Daily News complaining that whereas the pavements of Hartington and Rock Road were covered with ‘decent’ sand, the pavements of Blinco Grove were covered with ‘all sorts of rubbish, such as glass and rough stones.”‘
