in 2024 BHS sent this note:
I would like to share that in the 1881 census Philip Howard and Mary Howard lived at 24 Occupation Road. He was 25 and a general dealer and apparently had a long fingernail on one finger that he used to gut fish! I believe he was a landlord at one point of the Coach and Horses in Trumpington and a pub around in Abbey – uncertain which at this time.
