1908 J West Knights moved here when the house was newly built. The garden joined onto the garden of 67 Tenison Road where the Public Analyst Laboratory was.
1912 JWK is described as County Analyst for Cambridge, Hunts and Isle of Ely and also Analyst for the Boroughs of Cambridge and Kings Lynn and Agricultural Analyst for cambridgeshire and Hunts.
Freemason: He is a Past Master of Scientific Lodge No 88 and head of the Pythagoras Chapter.
He is married to Margaret Ellen Ley of Bishops Stortford: they have 2 sons and 1 daughter.

1919 JWK applies to Cambridge CC for increased remuneration
1928 JWK resigns after 50 years service, aged 74. He is succeeded by Solomon Greenberg who buys the house and laboratory.
1929 Miss West Knights is still living at 25 St Barnabas Road. SG’s address is 67 Tenison Road.
c.1933: SG’s address is now 25 St Barnabas Road.
