The first two phases of building took place 1991-5 and the architects were the Powell Moya Partnership. Phase three came in 1995-7 by Bernard Stilwell Architects who also designed the Anne Campbell Building in 2004. The SmartLife building by Annand & Mustoe followed in 2005-6; this is object-lesson architecture, used for teaching about low-carbon building construction. The Park (Block J) was constructed in in 2008-9. (notes from Pevsner)
