House. C14 open hall with C16 alterations and rear kitchen wing. Timber framed and plastered, long straw thatched hipped roof with gables.
According to Photographic memories of Histon and Impington by E Whitehead (1999), Stone Corner Cottage was condemned in 1929 to improve the Cottenham Road when the Abbey Estate was built.
The photo by O H H Jermy shows the gable end of the Garden Gate beerhouse next to the cart and in the distance the white railings surrounding Dodd’s Pond where Moses Carter is reputed to have bathed and washed his clothes.
