Henry Donnex

History of Henry Donnex

The 1891  census records a house lived in by Henry Donnex at approximately this point in Cherry Hinton Road. It is not known exactly which property it was.

Henry Donnex, 68, cattle dealer, born Cambridge

Hannah, daughter, 32, born Cambridge

Ellen E Staines, 11, granddaughter, born London

Henry Donnex seems to have been a colourful character and a member of the family has placed an interesting collection of newspaper extracts and other documents on line.
