Augustinian Friary, Territorial Inn, Huntingdon

History of Augustinian Friary

In 2015 Pre-Construct Archaeology carried out excavations here. These were the former grounds of an Augustinian friary and evidence of occupation probably from the 11th and early 12th century were discovered. Finds included a 12th – 13th century bone flute.
