Pevsner, (Cambridgeshire 2014, p. 331) writes:
No 18 is by Mole Architects, 2006-7, the last original new dwelling in Cambridge for some time. The main part is clad in a very precise glass rainscreen, with clear glazing for the central staircase. In front, a small shingled projection housing a music room, an organic form wilfully at odds with the rest. The garden has a two-storey timber cage within which sails for shade can be rigged in the summer.
