17 Botolph Lane, Botolph House

History of 17 Botolph Lane

(1959 Royal Commission on Historical Monuments Survey of Cambridge): ‘Botolph House … of four storeys with basement, has walls of Gault brick. It was built c. 1790… The original entrance door of six panels has a fanlight above with radiating glazing-bars.’ Numerous original features survive inside.

Over time the timber frame has settled unevenly.
