Baldock Way

Historical notes on Baldock Way

The origins of the line of Baldock Way seem to be that of the drain shown on the 1883 plan of the conveyance of what became known as the Cavendish Estate.

On this plan the drain runs from the northern edge of the land in question to the southern side between what would become Blinco Grove and Hills Avenue. Baldock Way itself was not developed until after WWI and initially ran only as far as the house of Hills Avenue before meeting the allotment plot.
