Frederick Clark was working as a grocer’s clerk at the Co-op when he was conscripted. He was discharged after 4 months as unfit and posted to the 1st Reserve Garrison Battalion of the Suffolk Regiment. He seemed to have a dietary condition and died in Sept 1917 just three months after final discharge from the army.
