From the mid 1950s up until 1971, these premises were occupied by S & T Engineering Ltd, one of Tibbitts & Allen Ltd’s subsidiaries.

Repetition turning of small components for the electronic industry was carried out, using Britan Capstan lathes.

The site was leased from the Listers (of Lister-Jaguar) fame.
