Catherine Street was in the process of development at this time and many of the houses were unnumbered. It is assumed that no.1 the 1891 census remained no.1 into the 20th cent.

1891

Susan King, 63, retired laundress, b Bottisham

David, 24, railway porter, b Cherry Hinton

William, 20, bootshop assistant, b Cherry Hinton

The King family were at 2 Romsey Terrace in 1881.

William married Clara Ann Wall in 1892. Their addresses until the 1901 census were:

1892 Fern Villa, Mill Road, Cambridge

1898 23 Sussex Street, Cambridge

1900 30 Sidney Street, Cambridge
