Head of household is Henry Norton, a 37 year old railway guard who was born in White Colne, Essex. He is married to 28 year old Jane and the couple have two children. Edward is 13 and attends school, and Ernest is just two years old.
In 1891, 32 Kingston Street is still home to 36 year old Jane and her 47 year old husband Henry. Henry continues to be employed as a railway guard. Edward no longer lives with his parents and Ernest is now 12 and a scholar.
By 1901, little has changed. Henry, now 57, is still working as a Railway Guard. Jane is now 46, though Ernest, who would now be 22, has left home.
By 1911, very little has changed. Jane, now 56, lives alongside Henry, now 66, who is still working as a Railway Guard.
