Samuel Ekin was a soda water manufacturer who had moved to Cambridge by 1834 and was working at 10 King’s Parade in 1846.

In 1850 he was working at Corn Exchange Street. 17 of his bottles were recovered in the Grand Arcade excavation at the location of Corn Exchange Court, see p.302 of report (2019). It is noted that his business did not survive long after 1850 so the bottles were already old when used as rubble.
