Through family connections C F Skipper was articled to a firm of architects in Hanover Square W1.
He made his name as a pioneer of military hospitals in WWI by work on the pioneer open-air Eastern General Hospital in Trinity College. he was then commissioned as a major in the canadian army. After the work his projects included new buildings at the Leys School.
Brandon House was built by him.
His obituary appears in the Cambridge Daily News 4.11.19136.
