Jenny Dye, b 1/4/1872

Maud A Dye (later Hall), b 31/10/1907, cardboard factory machinist

Betty Dye (later Boutle, later Clarke), b 7/9/30 (later altered to 14/3/1926), at school

In 1911 the Dye family were at 146 Histon Road.

132 Histon Road was the site of a plan crash in WWII

12/2/1941 RAF bomber crashes on top houses in Histon Road, three aged women killed – Miss Catharine Allen, Mrs Ann Warland, Mrs Ada Sara Blackwell. A fourth, Mrs Mary Hewitt, taken to hospital. The plane caught the top of the houses, completely wrecking the top storey of the village. Afterwards it came to rest on a tennis court at the back of the houses. The crew were uninjured.
