Their son, George, b 1887, died in 1919 aged 32, while working for the railway in a ballast pit at Whittlesey Station. He appears on the March Roll of Honour even though by the time of his death he had been discharged from the Royal Field Artillery. The Cambs Times reports the inquest 24/10/1919.
