Maltings, Ditton Walk

History of the Maltings, Ditton Walk

C.1899

Maltings were built by Sindalls. The first owners were the Commercial Brewery Ltd of Stepney.


1962

H A & D Taylor Ltd, maltsters (Barnwell maltings)

A long, multi-story brick building with many rectangular windows, two roof cowls, and a loading bay with a metal canopy.

1966

Sold to Peak’s Ltd. Became a delivery and distribution store.


1982

Bought by Willow Wholesale

Building then split into several units
