William John Aspinall, a retired printer and farmer, has died at his home, The Limes, Benson Street, aged 67. Before moving to Cambridge in 1908 he had worked in Chatteris as a printer and stationer while also engaged in farming. He served for several years on Chatteris Urban District Council and was a strong Conservative who undertook considerable work for the party. Since settling in Cambridge, however, he had taken no part in public affairs. He leaves a widow and two children by his first wife. 15 09 24
