History of 57 Eden Street

1896:

Gustave David the bookseller moved here from London with his wife Alice née Gillett. Alice died at this address in 1897.

The same year Gustave married Emma Jane Carter. In 1901 they were living at 41 Green Street.

1947:

John Price moves in to property when it had been condemned but restored it. He ha been a pupil at the Higher Grade School (Parkside).
