12 December 1989 – Sir Arthur Marshall recalls King Street beginnings
A profile of Sir Arthur Marshall noted that his family’s motor business had early premises in King Street and Jesus Lane after his father established a deluxe car hire service in Brunswick Terrace in 1909. The article also traced Marshall’s pioneering aviation career, including his first aircraft, his pilot’s licence and the development of the family business.
