In 1981 (25.6.) the CWN article on King Street reported that the Scales Brewery was established at 7 King Street in 1866 by George Scales.

1925:

Scales Brewery purchased by Barclay Perkins and Co. Scales had been supplying beer to 13 Cambridge pubs but brewing on these premises now ceased. (CWN)
