1913:

William Farren, naturalist

William Farren (1865-1952) was a well known naturalist with a taxidermy shop first at 23 , Regent Street, Cambridge then at 76. He was an excellent lepidopterist, field botanist and ornithologist, and could write and talk well about what he saw. He traveled extensively and was a well known pioneer of nature photography, and he often gave illustrated lectures. He was the brother of Robert Farren, wildlife artist.
