Low Road, Burwell

History of Low Road site

Archaeology was carried out at this site circa 2022. The report can be found here:

Finds included Bronze Age waterholes and an Iron Age enclosure. Most remains related to the earthworks of a toft or house platform. There was indication of domestic activity from around 13th century suggesting relative comfort.
