History of the Cock Inn

The Lows: two railway carriages erected as additional accommodation alongside the Cock Inn by Frederick Pope, son of Ernest Pope

There was also a three roomed bungalow occupied by farm worker Harold Pope, who worked in West Row, east of the river.
