Jack Reeve recalls White Lion Public House, High Street StrethamJack was born in one of the many public houses in Stretham. He worked on the land and married a local girl. He always said he was “content with his lot” and did not crave for modern accessories. In his later years he cared for his invalid wife in their high street home. They were both loyal members of the Over Sixties Club.
