History of the House by the Wood

Boysie Jeffery, a local wireless enthusiast, also charged accumulators using an engine driven generator but as he lived in the isolated “House by the Wood” by Ditton Park, customers had to take and collect the batteries themselves. (R H Vincent, A Tanner Will Do)
