Doddington Windmill

History of Doddington Windmill

Listed Building

Tower mill. Mid C19. Gault brick tarred. Four storeys with boarded door to entrance facing east. Windows at each floor with replacement fixed lights. Temporary tarpaulin covering. (Ogee domed cap blown off in a gale recently, four sails removed after 1940 when last in use). Interior floors and stairs intact, with three mill stones and stone nut.
