Cinema. 1932. By Ward and Woolnough. Common brick and reconstituted Ketton stone. Jazz-Modern style.
The large building in the photo was Hill House on Upper Street, shown in 1927. It was converted into an indoor market called Racey’s Arcade. This was demolished and replaced with the Empire Theatre. (Wisbech, Images of Englaand 1996)
