London House, 26 High Street, Brampton

History of 26 High Street

1900s one of two shops owned by William Wright, a prominent non-conformist.

Arthur and Flora Nobbs took over the business from the Wrights. Flora stands in the doorway in the photo.

Later it was Childs greengrocer’s.
