In 1911 Neville A T Nix Feary was living in Middlesex. He had married Lucy Louise Dawe in 1908 in Lancashire. Together with A M Grose, Neville Faery was behind the design of a monoplane which they assembled at Oakington. They built it at manor barn tenanted by Mr Cooke in order to compete in a competition run by the Daily Mail. £1,000 for the first British plane to fly a circular course of 1 mile. It never flew and another plane took the prize. Quinsee of East Road, Cambridge built the chassis and Robinson of Regent Street built the stabilising apparatus.
