History of Swiss Cottage

This was built on the site of the Oaklands House vegetable garden in the 1920s. In WWII it was used to house officers. After WWII a second floor was added.

For a while it was home to Eric Morecambe, the comedian, while he underwent heart surgery at Papworth Hospital.
