3 Bridge Street, Town Clock, St Ives

History of 3 Bridge Street

The clock was built in 1715 on he house belonging to the Duke of Manchester who lived at Kimbolton Castle but had wide interests in St Ives. In 1918 the property was sold to the Kiddle family.

The clock was demolished without the use of scaffolding. Members of the Kiddle family are in the picture.
