The Guild of the Transfiguration of the Body of Christ
Little is known about this Guild which seems to have been linked with the chantry chapel and the two storey vestry on the north side of the church. It was founded by Henry Paas and had sufficient income to pay for a priest. It was first endowed in 1327 and the incumbent, John Prior, was described as ‘meanly learned’. It had at one time, about 200 members.
