James was previously living in Albert Street. The family bible survives as does poetry which Eliza wrote reflecting on the birth of her son Frank Alfred years later.

With eyes of blue and flaxon hair
My cup was full I must confess
With overjoy and happiness.
Months and years have quickly flown
My lovely babe to boyhood grown
And very soon he took his place
In manhood for to run the race
My cyup flows o’er I must confess
With overjoy and happiness.
