Thomas Richardson, 40, cattle drover, b Wales

Harriet, 32, b Gt Wilbraham

Matilda, 7, b Cambridge

Duratha [Dorothy], 6, b Cambridge

Thomas, 3, b Cambridge

Robert Starling, boarder, 31, ag. lab, b Cambridge

In 1872 Thomas Richardson took over the Crown in Hills Road.

There is an account in the local press concerning his mishandling of some sheep with scab.

But the verdict was that he didn’t know the sheep were diseased.
