Charles Cooper Carter, 66, retired police officer, b Melbourne

Charles and his wife Mary Ann had moved here from 9 Downing Lane circa 1895. In 1905 Mary died and he married a third time to Anne Taylor Dawkins. By 1911 they were living at 62 Newmarket Road.
