David George Crouch’s reminiscences of living in Swavesey are in ‘Memory Lane’ (2004) Swavesey History Society.
By 1930 David’s grandparents and his uncle Will had moved here. Will was apprenticed to Charles Cannon, a tailor in King Street, Over. Will then started his own tailoring business at 1 Boxworth End.
