85 High Street, Cottenham

History of 85 High Street

According to Cottenham in Focus (2002), this was the house of Fred Stone, watch and clockmaker, local photographer and music teacher.

He married Lizzie Cross who had owned this property and it was altered to turn it into a shop.


1901:

Frederick Stone, 38, watchmaker and jeweller, b Sussex

Lizzie, 35, b Cottenham

Horace Beall, 20, boarder, b London
