40 Church Street, Haslingfield

40 Church Street, Grove Cottage, Haslingfield

History of 40 Church Street

The original 1810 house is now encased in a modern timber shell. The old building was probably three ‘one up, two down’ cottages for the farm labourers at Grove Farm opposite. (Walk and Look  Around Haslingfield 1994).
